UKA thriving resource on the web for information about the Porsche 968 including specifications. Also includes resources for other Porsche models, parts, insurance as well as the Porsche 968UK forum. The forum has a mass of information and workshop tips for the 968 and now has over 600 registered users.
Been rather busy of late so not much got put down on paper over the last month.
After 'BigDave' organised a group buy on my forum, the 968 Coupe now has M030 Anti Roll Bars front and rear. They took my mechanic a little over 2 hours to fit which also included extra bracing brackets for more rigidity front to back. By the time you read this the Coupe will also have had Club Sport suspension fitted with adjustable dampers so hopefully I will have something to report in the next issue. So the Coupe will eventually be everything I wanted in a 968, Guards Red, light grey leather interior with red piping, front splitter and Club Sport suspension.
Technical tip from one of the guys on the forum, if your immobiliser didn't go off when you put the 'key' in the recepticle you can leave it in and it will recognise it when it recycles, so no need to take it out and guess when it has recycled. There was a full write up in July's edition of 911 and Porsche World and they used some of the images from the December issue, the interest in 968s is just growing and growing and I have even seen a substantial rise in the selling prices of 968s, the return to the round headlights of the 997 will only help to keep the 968 looking fresh and modern as well.
