Mike's 968 for sale.

Its a 1993 K plate LHD 968CS, its had a full respray at some point but according to 9m other than work to n/s rear wing its a straight car with no major accident damage anywhere. The interior and exterior are very clean with only some slight bodywork blemishes which could easily be sorted by someone after that perfect finish , its MOT'd till the end of December I think ?? I'll check, there won't be any tax on it. I'm taking it off the road this weekend to clean/polish her up and garage it.
It will come with M030 ARB's, KLA strut brace, harness bar, harnesses & blitz chip fitted. (I'm happy to put it back to standard if required)

In terms of work done, since Feb I've replaced/repaired

Power Steering pump rebuilt,
Cam chain and Variocam pads,
The belt rollers & all the front engine oil seals
Belts had just been done by the previous owner,
Its had a new set of hydraulic tappets,
MO30 ARBS and new bushes,
Replaced lower A arms,
New Castor blocks,
New shocks and struts all around,
Nearly new Goodyear Eagle F1s all around,
jetex filter element
new distributer cap & rotor
new DME relay
new brake discs all round in Feb/March
Gearbox oil replaced a couple of months ago with 75w90 semi synth
Engine oil changed regularly using 5w40 fully synth.
There are lots of little bits too like dodgy electrics sorted, carpets refitted here and there etc.. etc... but I've done so much fettling I've lost track of it all.

Now for the bits that will need looking at at some point but are not a mad panic and certainly nothing to lose sleep over. I don't

The A/C isn't working and has not since I've had the car I assume it needs a regas but could easily be it need the compressor rebuilding, I honestly don't know.

There are some slight dinks and scuffs on the bodywork, but again they are not mega and would probably cost less than £100 or so at Dentmaster or similar.

The handbrake has started sticking but I'll get onto that this weekend, hopefully a spring come adrift.

The car has done something like 140,000 miles now but it has a lot of history/provenance German and UK so you know what your getting, its an honest car and has proved very reliable in recent months. I've been covering 1500 to 2000 miles a month without any major issues.
Thanks to the hours of toil I've put into getting it right, it drives as it should, it has been tracked a couple of times by me and still has the same umph as Jasons much fresher lower mileage L plater, so testament to the engineering Porsche put into this motor.

So there you go I'm trying to be honest so you know exactly what its about warts and all, and if it wasn't for work it would not be going anywhere , it has been really great these last few months, especially after the initial problems I had when I first got it. I've spent a lot of time and cash getting it this far and with a little minor fixing of the A/C this would be an A1 motor , certainly I've saved someone a lot of pain.

So what do I want, well if you've been reading my posts on here and others then you won't be surprised at £10,000 on the nose which I feel is a fair price for what is a fantastic motor. I'll be advertising in a couple of weeks if no interest on here.

Finally if you have any doubts about left hand drive, don't, I think for the money you save its a minor issue and you always get looks driving on the wrong side
