Question
Hi, I've just bought a 968 sport and notice that
no sound comes from the rear speaker covers.
Are rear speakers fitted as standard? and what quality are the front
speakers as they don't seem that good?
I've tried to get at the rear speakers, but it looks like the whole
trim panel has to come off. Any suggestions please.

I have recently purchased
a 968 Sport in polar silver, and discovered the same lack
of rear speakers in my car. I checked this with an independent specialist
(www.strasse.co.uk) and they
advised me that UK-only sport models came without any
rear speakers. I consulted with a few local audio equipment specialists,
who
advised me that it's easy to retro-fit rear speakers if so requireed,
but I've
decided that I enjoy the aural pleasures of the 3 litre engine!
